Dive into the fascinating world of faces and discover how you can bring emotions to life on paper. In this workshop, you will learn what makes a face expressive, how to draw basic shapes, proportions and details, and how to make feelings visible in the process.

Together, we practice depicting basic emotions such as joy, sadness, anger or surprise and experiment with different presentation styles. It's not just about technology, but also about understanding facial expressions and expressions  for drawings that tell stories.

In a relaxed atmosphere, you can try out new things step by step, ask questions and get personal feedback. Whether you're a beginner or already experienced in drawing, you're welcome here if you want to dive deeper into drawing.

What to expect:

• Basics for drawing faces: drawing exercises, basic shapes, proportions, initial sketches
• Analysis: What makes a face expressive?
• Draw the most important emotions
• Tips for simplifying shapes and different display styles
• Personal feedback in a small group (max. 15 participants)

• 📍 Location: Gleisgarten, Eichenstraße 2, 1120 Vienna
• 💶 costs: 60€ per person (including 15€ gastronomic voucher)
• ✏ materials: Drawing materials are provided — but you are also welcome to bring your own sketchbook and pens
• 🔞 Attendance: Minimum age 18 years (slightly younger is also possible if highly motivated)
