ABOUT THE EVENT 🍷

Taste award-winning wines from the 2nd DAC Trophy thermal region under palm trees and olive trees! On Thursday, January 22, 2026, winemakers from the Thermenregion DAC wine-growing region will present their range of products in a cozy atmosphere under palm and olive trees.

The DAC thermal region is one of the most traditional and at the same time most exciting wine-growing regions in Austria. It stretches from the southern outskirts of Vienna to the southern Vienna Basin and covers around 1,900 hectares of vineyards. As the cradle of Austrian wine tavern culture, the region looks back on over 900 years of wine history. Today, the focus is primarily on the indigenous, globally unique Zierfandler and Rotgipfler grape varieties as well as Burgundy varieties such as St. Laurent, Pinot Blanc and Chardonnay.

In addition to the opportunity to taste a variety of regional, local and vineyard wines, the winery of the year will be presented and awarded at 18:00. In addition, our guests can expect relaxed, guided wine tastings, as well as the culinary highlights of our restaurateurs.
