What is a clothes swap?
Take all the things that have been vegetating in the wardrobe for far too long and always disappear back into the back of the closet with the words “Oh I could still wear that when it's my cat's birthday.” It is precisely these parts that you finally bring to our event. Everything is sorted by categories (pants, sweaters, accessories,...) on tables. Afterwards, you can rummage through others' cupboards to your heart's content and pick up tons of new favorite pieces. Resource-saving, communicative, funny and really good for the environment... oh... and for the soul.
How does the clothes swap work?
In order to spend the clothes exchange really well, we would ask you all to bring only nice things. No one needs holey, smelly or dirty laundry. No promotional T-shirts or faded wool sweaters that are as sturdy as chain mail. Costume jewelry, from which the outer layer flakes off, and handbags whose handles threaten to tear off weighing 10 grams or more, can also be safely thrown away.
We have started one of the few free metabolisms that has no restrictions, checks or introductions - so let's keep the quality high together. In fact, we think that there is no need to check this if everyone pays attention to it.
What can be exchanged?
Everything from sweaters to bikinis to dresses is swapped. What your closet has to offer. Men's and children's clothing is of course also very welcome. I expect everything to be in good condition. No stains, holes, or completely faded pieces. Good cosmetics, jewelry, DVDs, accessories and decoration in manageable quantities are also welcome.
How much can be exchanged?
As much as you want to bring. As much as you want to take.
